Students will learn to work with patterns and sew garments in this series of classes. They will acquire the skills to determine what fabrics can be used with certain patterns, how to read the patterns, and construct garments by machine and finishes by hand. (Ages 13-16)

These classes involve the use of sewing machines, needles, and sharps for cutting, so patience and following directions are crucial. If your child is unable to safely use these tools on their own and listen to the instructor, this class might not be the right fit.
